Meet the ilumin team

Meet the bright and lively team here at ilumin. We understand numbers and we understand business. We’re your behind-the-scene light. Click on any member of our team to learn more.

Suzanne Kingsland-White

Suzanne is one of ilumins’ two directors and is our CEO. She began working for ilumins’ predecessor Millar & Miller in 1999 and was an integral part in its re-branding to ilumin in 2013.

With a focus beyond compliance, Suzanne delves deeper than the numbers to help her clients develop and grow a successful business. Her passion is in running client reviews and facilitating business planning and coaching sessions with business owners that are motivated, enthusiastic to learn and are prepared to be challenged by her questioning.

Family life keeps Suzanne very busy outside of ilumin – three children, husband Karl and herself are all very active in their sporting pursuits. She also enjoys a bit of the good life at home with a bumper vege garden.

Cathy Tolley

Cathy came on board the ilumin team in 2012 and became a director in 2015, achieving a major personal goal of being an owner of an accounting practice that she has had since her days at university.

Cathy loves working with business owners, being the go-to person that they can call when they need support or even just a sounding board for making decisions. She likes to help make things as easy as possible, help people understand their numbers and what the financial impact some decisions will be.

Since getting married to her husband Heath, in Vegas by Elvis, Cathy now has two young girls and two rascal cats. When she is not spending her free time with her family, she loves to fit Dragon boating and Boxing into her busy life.

Sieny Pollard

Sieny’s career with ilumin started in 1995, and she calls herself ‘part of the furniture’, but there is nothing wooden about Sieny. She is warm and friendly with her clients who she loves to work closely with on their businesses and help them improve the management of their accounts.

Sieny has four grown-up children and has recently welcomed her first grandchild. She is a long-standing member of the Tararua Tramping Club and has explored much of New Zealand’s landscapes on tramping trips from the top of the North to the bottom of the South Island.

Linda Hudson

Linda is one of our longest-serving team members and has seen many changes in tax law & accounting practice over her time with us.

Whilst Linda loves the city life, when she does get away it’ll be to the mountains where she loves to spend time with her partner on the ski slopes. She also enjoys doing embroidery.

Grace Chu

Grace joined the ilumin team in September 2018. She is originally from China, but is now very much a Kiwi. With 20 years working in New Zealand, both in and with local businesses, Grace has a great understanding of what a small business owner needs and wants.

Grace loves gardening and Taiji – and is aiming to be a Taiji instructor in the near future.

Georgie Lawrence

Georgie has worked in financial and accounting roles around the world before settling back home in NZ to bring up her family. Georgie joined the team at ilumin in April 2019.

A farm girl at heart, Georgie still helps out on her parents farm in Taranaki when she can, loves to go on skiing trips with her young family and enjoys movies & theatre.

Bhawana Joshi

Bhawana has a background in accounting in India and a passion for learning, she seamlessly applies new skills to her work. Bhawana is usually busy with her little boy and loves karate in her spare time.

Rhonda Huntley

Rhonda has worked as an Office Manager and Business Manager for various organisations over the past 10 years.  She enjoys analysing systems, ensuring best practices and processes are followed and enjoys working as part of a team delivering a high-quality service to clients.

In her spare time, Rhonda enjoys caravan adventures with her family around NZ and supporting her children in their sporting endeavours.

Tim Rosenbrook

Since joining ilumin in 2019 Tim has been working with the team helping to deliver marketing strategies that are customer focused and measurable.

Outside of marketing, Tim’s family keeps him busy and he enjoys coaching (and watching) their sports. Tim loves to get out on the South Coast for a dive or a surf when time/weather permits.

John Coltman

Based in the Wellington area, John specialises in risk management for both families and
businesses. He likes to take time to engage with clients, exploring their goals and what is most important to
them.

John is also a firm believer that having fun along the way is key: it’s important to get the balance right in life.
A big fan of the outdoors, swimming, mountain biking and sailing, not least for the social and health benefits that he gets from all of it.
